EGU Playoff Seeding Policy
The top two teams, after league play, from Upstate, NYC, NY, and NJ each get play-off spots.  Determination of seeding of teams will use the weighted value of points.  Total points determined as the sum of match points (wins and ties) plus bonus points divided by the total number of league games played provides the weighted value.  If teams have the same weighted value, then the team with the greater positive difference between points for and points against will be the higher seed.

Teams will be seeded as follows:
1)    The winners of each conference will be seeded 1, 2, 3, 4
2)    The second place teams of each conference will be seeded 5, 6, 7, 8
