USA Rugby Congress Ratifies New Bylaws

  • May 09,2020
In a vote held this evening, USA Rugby Congress ratified new bylaws for the national organizing body. While exact vote totals are not available at press time, the vote passed by an overwhelming margin and assures the organization will continue operations.
"Today, we had a monumental meeting and are pleased with the result as the new bylaws were approved," said Ken Pape, Empire GU President. "Empire GU looks forward to the continuation of USA Rugby, with important changes coming in the new structure. The rugby community in this country will stand to benefit greatly moving forward."
On March 30, USA Rugby filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which enabled the organization to continue operations while going through a restructuring.

EGU Members are invited to review the ratified bylaws, to include red line for comparison against the previous set.
