Empire Names Dr. Dean Hottum as Metro NY HP Director

Empire Rugby is proud to announce Dr. Dean Hottum as Metro NY High Performance Director.
"We are excited that Dr. Dean Hottum has agreed to lead the Metro NY High Performance program," said Dannish Patel, President of Empire GU. "Dean has a detailed background in both rugby and athlete performance and we are confident his skill set will benefit our athletes in many different areas."
Hottum has spent nearly two decades immersed in high-performance sports, with experience as an athlete, coach and clinician at the highest levels. He has represented the USA internationally in two sports and worked extensively with Division 1, Olympic and professional athletes across multiple disciplines.
Having played rugby in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Hottum brings a wealth of expertise and perspective to his role as High Performance Director for Metro NYC in the Empire GU. He is passionate about creating pathways for athletes to achieve their full potential and elevating the game across the region.
